Last week, XULA’s Archivist and Digital Preservation Librarian Vincent Barraza visited the B&O Railroad Museum in Baltimore, Maryland for a peek at the museum’s newest permanent exhibition "The Underground Railroad: Freedom Seekers on the B&O Railroad". The exhibit, which opened in September, features a slave manuscript from Xavier University of Louisiana’s archives.

The exhibit has received lots of press coverage, including a NPR special titled “Escaping to Freedom on the B&O Railroad” that aired during Barraza’s visit.
