David is honored to support the Xavier mission of creating a more just and humane society through collaboration, creativity, and innovation. His favorite part of this work is supporting future scholars (students) and established scholars (faculty and staff) through all phases of their research.
He also oversees the innovative learning laboratories housed in the library. Those include the Data Visualization Lab, the Innovation Studio, and the Extended Reality Center. He serves as part of the STEM Liaison group.
A New Orleans native, he's proud to have spent the entirety of his career helping others achieve their academic goals (while also pursuing his). Ironically, he has an aversion to writing about himself in the third person.
