1. What is Primo VE?

Primo VE is our revolutionary new unified discovery service. It allows the researcher to quickly search, discover and access reliable and credible library content. It will replace Summon.

2. Can I continue using Summon?

Yes. You can use EDS until the license expire. It will expire in Dec 2022.

3. Why do we switch to Primo VE?

• Primo VE provide the Sing Sign-On solution for users, which means users don't need to remember their library ID anymore. They can sign in with XULA banner account
• Primo VE contains the newest electronic resources and physical resources. Users can renew or place a hold on one platform now.
• Primo VE has integrted our ILL service. It will be much easier for users to submit an ILL request or purchase request.

4. How can I use it?

The search box on the homepage has been replaced as Primo VE.
