Course Reserves

About Course Reserves

""We know course materials are expensive. That's why the library keeps a Course Reserve Collection, so you don't always have to buy them. A course reserve is a book or other item that a professor has requested for a specific class; on reserve means the item has a short check out time, only hours instead of weeks. This way, the item can be shared equitably amongst students.

To check out a course reserve, visit the Second Floor Library Service Desk with your Xavier ID and course title. Not sure if your course has a reserve? Check the Current Course Reserves. And don't forget, your course text may already be in the Library's general collection or online. Just search the catalog by title to find out.

Help out a fellow Xaverite! Donate your course texts at the Second Floor Library Service Desk. We'll add them to the collection for others to use.
