by University Library on 2022-01-14T08:35:02-06:00 in News | 0 Comments

Student happy to be receiving virtual drop-in research help.Welcome back Xavierites! The University Library is piloting an exciting new virtual reference program to allow campus community members to meet with a librarian without an in-person visit.

Are you working on an assignment that requires the use of scholarly resources, such as peer-reviewed articles? Writing a paper and need a few more relevant articles to support your point of view? Need help finding just the right book or database? XULA’s University Library is here to support all your research needs.

Drop-in Reference service hours can be found on the library’s newly redesigned homepage or by clicking this link to the calendar. Just join the Drop-in Reference room, during the designated hours, via the Zoom link and a librarian will move you to a private breakout room for assistance. The service launched on January 10, 2022 with hours being offered during the week and weekend.

The library can help you in many ways; all you have to do is contact us via phone, email, instant messaging, in-person, and now by video! Visit the Xavier University of Louisiana Library website for up-to-date contact information and service hours.
