Current Position: Head of Research and Technology


 

Tell us what you do.

I oversee the Innovation Studio, Data Visualization Lab, XULA Digital Commons, and library technology. I also serve as the Liaison for Psychology, Sociology, the Honors Program, McNair Program, and graduate students.

Artsy, Enthusiastic, Determined
 
What's the best part about working in a library?

Interacting with students and inspiring innovation and creativity.
 
What's your favorite book? What book character would you most like to be?

My favorite book is the Phantom Tollbooth by Norton Juster. I would like to be Milo and take a great adventure of self-discovery.
 

If you could have tea with someone dead or alive, who would it be?

Marcus Garvey
 
What's something people don't know about you that might surprise them?

I was an All-Star basketball player.
 
What's one thing you wish college students knew about using a library?

The library is a place created to inform, inspire, and promote innovation and creativity. We are here to make them the best they can be and prepare them for their future.
